"Don't be afraid! I'm a horse!"
What a christmas gift... for the comminty, but even more for FoDooG Films. Having their first "big" feature film for TMO, with over 200 scenes, over 120 VoiceOvers by five different actors and a full, original written musical score out on the charts, it blasted its way up to number one in nearly one day, surpassing great movies like "KING KONG 1940" by StevenKreg and funny, short, but still community appealing films like "BEEEEEEER!" by Buccura. It featured an all-self made title sequence and closing credits, which added a "real movie" experience.
It was even a surpirse for FoDooG Films themselves, that "Come On" climbed so high in such a short time, besides the fact it gets into TOP 5 at all.
Having the biggest PR-campaign on the lionhead-boards up to date, certainly helped the movie and the anticipation for it growing. No one ever did fake "press-conferences" and a daily countdown with each day releasing a new teaser poster from six days until release. And as it looks like,... it worked.
The plot of the movie itself is told very quick. Four guys, on their continuing quest for insanity decide to get new clothes, something fetching to impress the chicks, so they drive downtown to a new designer-outlet. Little do they know, as they are being approached by a suspicious woman, that soon a chicken infested masterplan by Doctor Villian shall be unfold.
The horse is simply the "star" of the movie, or, better said, was "made" into the star of the FoDooG Films Empire. Mr. Lennox, "agent" of FoDooG Films on the TMO boards, was soon adressed as horse, as well as the phrase "Yehaw!" and "I'm a horse" really became a trademark of the studio. Various people stated, that they say "I'm a horse" in their common surroundings, or shouting "Yehaw!" on their working places.
It was the first time, all people from FoDooG Films contributed voices (but not their look) to a movie, and the charming appeal of having a not-accent-free English together with a very weird kind of humor and a catchy musical score also added to the movies' quality.
"Come On" stayed on the Number One position of the charts on TMO for more than two weeks (only topped by "KING KONG 1940") and in the TOP 5 for more than two months. And, what FoDooG Films think is the biggest achievement, it encouraged many "new" filmmakers to do the same and get theirselves to the limits.
